Refunds
Mbox Viewer is sold through the Mac App Store, and a Windows version will be sold through the Microsoft Store. Because the app store is the seller of record, refunds are requested from and granted by the store — not by us directly. Here's how to do it.
Mac App Store purchases
Apple handles all payments and refunds for the Mac App Store. To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account, find the Mbox Viewer purchase, choose “Report a Problem” or “Request a refund”, pick a reason and submit. You can also use the “Report a Problem” link in the receipt email Apple sent you.
Apple reviews and decides each request according to its own refund policy. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.
Why we can't refund you directly
For App Store purchases, Apple is the merchant of record: it processes the payment and we never receive your card details. Developers have no way to issue refunds for App Store purchases, so every refund must go through Apple.
Try before you buy
Mbox Viewer is free for files up to 500 MB, with every feature included. We recommend opening a few of your archives in the free version before unlocking unlimited size, so you can confirm it works for you first.
Windows (coming soon)
When the Windows version ships on the Microsoft Store, refunds for it will be requested through your Microsoft account and granted under Microsoft's refund policy, in the same way.
